STATEWIDE ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM
The links under the STATEWIDE ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM heading will download documents
or direct you to two kinds of accountability web sites:
(1) Sites containing links to the accountability results from 2003 and 2004.
The results are available in a variety of formats including PDF and Word documents,
spreadsheets, and delimited data files. Beginning in 2005, the accountability results
will be accessible directly in the Mississippi Assessment and Accountability Reporting
system (MAARS).
(2) Sites containing information about the accountability models for the coming year.
This includes the most recent Accountability Timeline, documentation for procedures
related to the accountability system, and the technical documentation for the
Achievement, Growth, and AYP Models. All of the formulas and constants used for running
the models are available in documents accessible from these sites.
